Ways of Using Solar Energy

Solar energy - energy that is received from the sun and converted into heat or electricity. This - the universal energy source that can be used in many ways.
Three main ways of using solar energy:
1. Solar cell - converts sunlight directly into electrical energy. In a sunny climate with a one square meter of solar panel you can get enough energy for ignition of a lamp. The solar panels were originally developed to power satellites.

2. Solar Oven. The solar oven uses a huge array of mirrors to concentrate solar energy into a small point for very high temperatures.

3. Solar water heaters. The energy of the sun is used to heat water in glass panels installed on the roof of your house. This saves gas or electricity used for hot water in your home. Water is pumped through pipes in the panes. The panels are painted black and heated by sunlight. The heated water is pumped into the house.
